Mrs. Stewart is joining the team at Lawson-Marriott Elementary School as their new Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher. She grew up in Northern VA and is a graduate of West Virginia University. She and her husband enjoy fostering rescue animals and traveling with their two cats in their motorhome. Ms. Joswick is joining the team at Lawson-Marriott Elementary School as their new Art Teacher. She attended VCU and the University of Richmond and has 8 years of teaching experience. She enjoys watching soccer, reading, sewing, quilting, embroidery, and arts and crafts with her daughter. She is excited to work with big imaginations in the art room at LMES this year. Virginia is working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to implement a new program called Virginia SUN Bucks. Through Virginia SUN Bucks, some families will receive extra money to help with the costs of groceries that include fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, dairy and meat at grocery stores, farmers markets and other places that accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) EBT benefits.
