Great news! King and Queen Elementary School AND Lawson-Marriott Elementary School have been recognized for their commitment to quality early care and education. Thank you to the PreK staff at both schools!

The next Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) meeting is on Wednesday, March 26 at 4:00pm. The meeting will be held in-person in the Library at Central High School. Representatives from PEATC and DARS will be presenting and sharing available resources and transition opportunities. Please email Dr. David Curran or Amy Klontzaris for more information.
Important Update: Due to the severe weather conditions predicted for the early afternoon and in abundance of caution, King and Queen County Public Schools will close at 12:00 noon today, March 5, 2025. All after-school activities are canceled.

This is Dr. Carter calling with an update regarding our schools. We are anticipating a significant snowfall mid to the end of next week. If you would like for us to send an additional yummy breakfast/lunch home with your student to bring home Tuesday afternoon, please let your child's teacher know by Tuesday 9:00 a.m. via email, phone or send a note and we will send it home that afternoon.
