Congratulations to our KQPS School Board Office Staff Member of the Month, Dr. Dave Curran!
This month, we are proud to spotlight our Assistant Superintendent, whose leadership and heart for service make a lasting impact across the district. He is always willing to step in, offer support, and share his knowledge, no matter the situation. His passion for ensuring equity, access, and meaningful opportunities for our SPED students is evident in everything he does. He advocates fiercely for students and staff alike, always keeping what is best for children at the center of every decision. We are thankful for his dedication, his leadership, and the positive difference he makes for our students, staff, and community. Thank you, Dr. Curran!

The results are in, and ALL King and Queen County Public Schools are fully accredited and on track!
Under the new Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) accountability system, all three of our schools are fully accredited and on track - a distinction achieved by only 4 districts in Region 3 and 23 districts statewide.
Additionally, Lawson-Marriott Elementary School is a top-five school in the region for reading growth, demonstrating the impact of strong instruction and targeted support.
CONGRATULATIONS ROYAL TIGERS!
