REMINDER
At the September 18 School Board meeting, the School Board approved two calendar changes:
Tuesday, November 5 (Election Day) is now a student holiday and a PD/Workday for staff.
Thursday, November 7 is now an early release for students at 12:00pm and Parent/Teacher conferences from 12:30pm-5:30pm.

Community Pride Day is TOMORROW (Saturday, October 19)! It begins with a parade starting at the Courthouse and ending at Central High School. Come join us for a fun-filled day celebrating King & Queen County!

All are welcome to join the first Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) meeting of the school year. The meeting will be held virtually. Please email Dr. David Curran or Amy Klontzaris for a link.

October is National Principals' Month! We are incredibly grateful for the amazing principals and assistant principals in our schools. Thank you for all that you do for our students!

Mrs. Jenkins' PreK students were so excited to collect leaves for their nature matching and graphing activity.

Mrs. Shiflett's 6th grade students presented poems to their classmates. Presentations can be scary, but these students did a great job.

Due to the expected air temperatures of 99+ degrees at our regular dismissal time, King and Queen County Public Schools will close at 12 noon today. The safety of our students is always first in our minds. All afterschool activities are cancelled. We appreciate your understanding and support.
