Fall sports are just around the corner! CHS will be starting fall tryouts in just a few weeks. The first official day of football, volleyball, and cheer will be Monday July 31st. Practices will run from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Activity buses will be running starting that date.
Reminder: All students must have an up to date VHSL physical in order to participate in any activities. Physicals must be dated after May 1st of this year.

This summer, rising 7th-12th graders are able to participate in summer camps in lieu of a traditional summer school setting. These camps will be offered in sessions occurring Monday-Thursday of each week.

Last night, Dr. Carter, Division Superintendent, presented her proposed budget for the 2023-2024 school year to the King and Queen County School Board.
CHS Administration wants to share some of our most common violations since we are a little over halfway done with the school year. Pajama pants, hats, hoods, crop tops, and ripped jeans that contain rips above the mid-thigh are not permitted and students will be asked to change. Blankets are also not allowed during the school day. Dresses, skirts, shorts, and other similar clothes must be midthigh in length and shirts must cover the torso and midriff, which includes the back, and shoulder straps must be an appropriate 3-finger width.
We appreciate the support from our families in ensuring our students arrive at Central High School dressed appropriately!
