It's Virginia School Principals Appreciation Week! Our first celebration is for Lawson-Marriott Elementary School!
Mr. Bartlett has been an amazing leader for LMES, first as Assistant Principal and now as Principal. He is passionate about building relationships with students, staff, and families. He takes on every task with positivity and excitement.
Thank you, Mr. Bartlett!

It's Virginia School Principals Appreciation Week! Our final celebration is for Central High School!
Mr. Harvey is one of our most dedicated Tigers; from being a KQPS student to being Assistant Principal at CHS! He leads with positivity, kindness, and respect. Mr. Eno is a new addition to our Tiger family, and we are incredibly excited that he has brought his talents and experience to CHS.
Thank you, Mr. Harvey and Mr. Eno!

Good evening parents and guardians. Due to the day missed from school this week for inclement weather and to ensure we have the most accurate data, we are changing the date of report card distribution. Good Afternoon King and Queen Community!
We wanted to share that transportation is working very hard to make sure students are on the correct routes as well as making other adjustments to routes in order to be as efficient as possible. During this time, if you are tracking information through the Viafy app, you may not see any route information or you may potentially see different route information as these changes are taking place.
Bus drivers will continue to reach out to share pick up times and other important route information. If you have not heard from a bus driver please contact your student's school and they will forward that information to our Transportation Coordinator.
Thank you for the patience as we make these transportation adjustments.
Have a great night.

We are looking forward to the start of the 2023-2024 school year! Welcome back students and families!

Good Afternoon King and Queen Parents and Guardians!
The KQPS Parent Portal will be available to access on Thursday, August 17th in time for Central High School's "Meet and Greet Night."
You can access the Parent Portal from any browser on any computer or mobile device. The browser link to Parent Portal is: https://kqps.powerschool.com/public/home.html
There is also an app available to download from your mobile device's app store called Powerschool Mobile App. King and Queen's Mobile App District Code is NGXM.
If you do not already have an account you will need to set one up using your parent access code provided by the student's school.
This is great application to check your student's grades, attendance, etc. This year we are excited to announce that most of your returning forms will be completed within Parent Portal under the Forms tab (directions are attached). These forms will be available to complete as soon as the Parent Portal opens up on August 17th.
We can't wait for the school year to start!
