Last week's Athlete of the Week was Amelia Moaney. We would like to congratulate her on a fantastic senior season of volleyball, which led to her being named to the First Team All-District. She has been a consistent force on the court, and we can't wait to see her continue to excel as we approach basketball season. Go, Amelia!

Good morning, Royal Tigers! This is a reminder that winter sports practices will begin on November 11th. The sports offered include Boys' JV/Varsity Basketball, Girls' JV/Varsity Basketball, Wrestling, Indoor Track, Winter Cheer, and Scholastic Bowl. Please note that all sports, except for Scholastic Bowl, require a physical to be submitted to the athletic director or your coach.

Mrs. Packett's class had the 1st of many Room 121 Family dinners on Tuesday, and it was a success! The students did an awesome job shopping and preparing.

Congratulations to these three exceptional athletes for making the All-District Volleyball team! Their remarkable talent and hard work led them to an incredible season, and we are eager to see them achieve even more success as the year progresses.

This week's Varsity Football game will be held on Thursday, 10/31, at 7:00 PM in Middlesex. Our weekly call mentioned Friday, but that was a mistake. It will be a Halloween edition of Thursday Night Lights; hope to see you there!

We wish our girls' volleyball team the best of luck tonight! They are heading to Middlesex to face off against the Chargers in the highly anticipated district tournament. Let's all cheer them on as they give it their all to pursue the district championship. Your support can make all the difference!

Way to go for the W, TTTiiiiggggeeerrrrsss!!

In a continued effort to keep our community safe, Central High School will use the following safety precautions at home sporting events during the 2024-25 school year– once a guest leaves, they may not re-enter and all children in 6th grade and below must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you in advance for your compliance as we strive to provide a safe and secure environment for spectators and athletes. Come on out 7pm TONIGHT!

There are awesome things happening everyday at CHS: Mrs. Cecil's science class worked on measurement stations to hone their measuring skills before they begin thier inquiry labs this school year, and Mrs. Powell's African American Studies course just completed their first unit on race and ethnicity, including much self reflection amongst students. As a culminating project, they decided to make personalized bracelets with a word/phrase that would help us work to better ourselves and our communities.
